"Yesterday evening around 7:54pm (gmt+1), bright sky, no clouds, i noticed from my window a bright white object in the sky moving from east to west over southern rotterdam, with a brightness comparable to the brightest star in the sky, sirius (pls. see attached mvi_9492 0036.Jpg for comparison). straightforward path w-e, constant speed, unwavering but very intense white light, no blinking position lights, absolutely no sound. wind from sw at 15-20 km/h, ground temperature around 5 â°c. as soon as the object disappeared from my sight beyond the nearest building, i checked on flightradar24: no planes for miles and miles around the whole city of rotterdam in all directions (nb: the local airport is currently closed due to the covid-19 outbreak). photos and videos were taken with a canon powershot sx20 is, only using the optical zoom."
