"With my binoculars I saw a flickering light to the west of the town at about 2 am. It had a cylindrical shape with lights that were intermittent and rotating. It moved silently and very slowly at a consistent height and disappeared to the west. According to the flight app I had on my cellphone there was no aviation devices, planes or satellite in the air over the town at the time."
