SIGHTING: DISCOVERY TRAIL IN JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK

Witness Testimony

"We wandered into discovery trail on the left side of skull rock around 5:00PM on Monday February 23. We hung out on a huge rock and were watching the sunset when all of a sudden we noticed a strange anamoly. At first, we thought it was some sort of drone or aircraft but then remembered there was no drones allowed which was strange. As we studied the object more, captured footage with our phones and zoomed in, we were able to notice it was about 4 parts to it. It was as if the top part was holding the other 3 parts that seemed to be attached and spiraling slowly for about 15-20 minutes. It was only hovering above the sky and it didn’t seem to be going anywhere specific, only towards the horizon where the sun was setting. There was no lights on the object it was just a black color. We noticed a guy on a rock much higher than we were towards the right side where we were facing the object and sunset. "
