Witness Testimony
"Bright Green Light With A Trail (Shaped like a Meteor) Descending Very Rapidly, then abruptly turning12:42 Scattered Cumulus Clouds at Approx. 6000’ I saw a vivid bright green light (looked like a meteor in regards to having a tail) travelling very fast from the sky at approximately an 80 degree angle to the horizon. It abruptly changed direction of travel to approximately 20 degree horizontal trajectory across the sky.The object I saw was not free falling. It was travelling extremely fast and changed its trajectory without a variation in speed. I lost visual on the object quickly after it changed its travel path due to a bluff obscuring my view. I tried to approximate the object’s path of travel on the far side of the bluff and did not see the object again.I would venture to guesstimate that as I witnessed it, its altitude started at about 1000’ and changed trajectory at about 400’ and travelled across the horizon 3000’ before I lost visual.I wish I knew what this was! Amazing! "
