"Woman sitting on her porch is illuminated from overhead by a very bright light, which streaks off.Woman reports being illuminated for 2 seconds by brilliant light overhead.NUFORC received a call from a young woman, who reported that she had been momentarily illuminated by an extremely bright light, which came from directly above. She immediately glanced up, just in time to witness a bizarre-looking object streak off to the west (?). The object appeared to leave a "smoke trail,”"as it streaked off to the west.A call was made to the Renner, SD, police, and three policemen were dispatched to the woman’s residence.The woman reported that a police patrol officer, sitting in a patrol car, may have experienced a similar event.NUFORC is awaiting her report from the young woman, who admitted that the incident had scared her badly.
