"Lights moving at same speed as aircraft, but no running lights.9-9-09 This evening my husband and I witnessed two bright objects moving across the sky from west to east at approximately 8:45 p.m. central.The reason we thought this was noteworthy is because there were no “running lights”... the red and green blinking lights we usually see on airplanes. Also, these lights were much brighter. The first one seemed to have vapor or smoke behind it, but not in a straight line as a contrail.
