Witness Testimony

"I left my house to look for northern lights to the north with my Leitz binoculars. No dice, so I decided to star gaze. I saw what must be a planet in the western sky at around 45 degrees above the horizon, near Orions shoulder and stared at that for a while because it seemed to show different colors. Just to sample the entire sky I turned 180 degrees to look East over the lake and there they were. The little orb was ascending from the south at a low angle right up into/with the moving larger object travelling due north. There might have been a slight change in color when this happened. The object was not shiny, had no lights, but seemed dull until the orb merged. The larger object moved 1/2 as fast as the other object, noticeably changed direction, blocked stars and disappeared to the north east, not bright enough to be seen after passing behind a house, it's angle to the horizon appearing smaller as it travelled farther away."
