Witness Testimony

"A ball/sphere of white light travelled north to south across the sky. It stopped to 'hover' then took off at right angles(90*). While hovering it was brighter than any of the stars. After hovering for about 8 seconds it quickly disappeared going east. There was a helicopter in the air on the other side of the sky, you could see its blinking lights and hear the 'whoop-whoop' of its blades. The light mad absolutely no sound at all. I would say its altitude was between 500 & 800 ft. There were no blinking lights, just a steady white uniform light. When moving it travelled faster than any plane I have ever seen. I spent 8 years in the US Army and have seen many aircraft (helicopters, fighters, reconn, tankers, commercial). None of these types of planes could have made the combined: speed, direction change, noise free at close range, lack of any blinking lights.ThanksMarks"
