Witness Testimony

"witnessed six very bright balls of an off white glowing light traveling on what appeared to be through cuchara valley on sunday october 1, 2006 after 11:00 p.m.. the balls of light traveled in a straight horizontal line, one right after another, barely above the mountains or foothills on the other side of the valley (i was at 9,100 feet). i was by a sliding glass door at the time and jumped up and opened the door and stepped out on the deck. at first i thought someone had turned on a string of white lights around the deck railing and part of the string had failed (that thought didn't last long). the objects didn't zoom by like a meteor, yet were faster than a speeding car. it was rather like a swift floating speed, not a flash. the event was over in the matter of a minute. the objects were baseball size. no sound what so ever was involved. they appeared to come from the cuchara pass area (or west of) and proceeded towards the town of la veta. the exact path of travel not known, i would guess southwest to northeast (sorry to be vague, not a local and unsure of the exact direction i was facing. one should not take my guess for fact). the next to the last ball appeared to have a tail. to be honest, i was so freaked out there could have been only five. i never expected to see something like that and was in no way prepared. my guess would be that it was some space trash re-entering from a low orbiting device we sent up, or weather ballons.
