SIGHTING: DEL RIO, TEXAS (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"It was about 930 at night I went outside to smoke a cigarette and immediately saw a bunch of lights in the sky looking west towards down town Del Rio. I immediately ran back inside to get one of my roommates. I was very excited. I said, hey man hurry up come out side and check this out. I ran back inside to get my telescope hoping to get a better view.all I could see was a red dot by the time I got one of them in focus it started to fade away there wasn't enough time to find another one I noticed they were all starting disappear. I didn't see how they appeared,where they came from or if were moving or not. The whole sighting only lasted about 3 or 4 minutes there were approximately 6 or 7 of them and seemed to be spread out and at various hights. It occurred to me that it may be a publicity stunt for the upcoming UFO Festival and that the May very well have been flares. Thinking that someone else would report it I only posted on the festival site and waited to see if anything was mentioned by someone else. I am hoping that this report will bring about other responses or reports."
