Witness Testimony

"At about midnight on 4/24/14 my wife and i were dropping a couple friends off in Shelbyville. They were walking to there car when one of them noticed what they thought was a falling star but quickly realized it was not. I immediately got out to look and saw what appeared to be a boomerang or triangular shaped object which had a very dull glow and almost seemed as if it were transparent. It was traveling at a very high rate of speed and was absolutely silent. Anything that large and moving at that rate of speed should have made some sort of sound. It only took about 15 seconds to cross the sky. It was first noticed about 35 to 45 degrees above the SW horizon and went out of site about 20 to 30 degrees above the NE horizon. We all got a very good look at the object and none of us could recognize it as being anything we had seen before."
