" Report:I saw this shape out of the window of my aircraft.I was looking outside as I usually do. When I saw a glowing round shape. With bright orange coming out of the sides almost an eclipse of sorts. At first I did not pay much attention in lieu of it being anything out of the ordinary. I thought it was the moon. But as soon as the aircraft started taxiing I noticed that the moon was right behind me almost a 90 degree angle from the object.I'm glad I took a picture of the anomaly as after that when I looked out the left side of the aircraft this object seemed to distort and, following that, disappeared.I found this rather striking as I have never seen any thing like this in all my years of flying.I have a good camera on my phone, that takes great pictures but somehow when I photographed this object the quality of the camera deteriorated to the 1990's quality.I have no idea why that happened.((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information.
