Witness Testimony

"While I was setting on my back porch deck at around 10:00pm waiting on my dogs to do their business before bed time, I was looking up in the Eastern sky. There was one relatively small normal looking white cloud. Suddenly what appeared to be a shooting star leaving a trail came straight down from the sky at about 45 degrees in the sky above the cloud. It left a trail and the object changed colors from yellowish red to purple, then blue and as it was inside the cloud it slowed to a stop and changed to green. Then suddenly went out as sparks came out of it. At that time it was about 20 degrees from the horizon. I have seen these type of objects many times in the past as a child and in my adult life. However, this time, when I went back inside my house to go to bed, I noticed it was 2:00am. What happened to the 4 hours, I do not remember? I seems strange, as I felt like I did something, but I do not know or remember about what it was. Perhaps I was incorrect in the time, but pretty sure it was 10:00pm because of a television program had ended, then I went outside. I have never experienced a missing time in all of my other sighting experiences."
