Witness Testimony

"Coming back from watching fireworks at my dads, I looked out the window of the car and saw what looked like a bell like object in the sky. Clearly stationary, it was too big to be a star, and was in no way a plane or aircraft. I was absolutely shocked and was unable to describe what I was seeing to my partner even though I was trying desperately to get him to look. It wasn't doing anything that I could tell, just sitting there in the night sky like it was also enjoying the fireworks that had recently stopped. From what I could see this bell shaped object was bright at the top like an orange lightbulb and nearest the bottom it looked like the light had faded and was about the size of a pill. It is a clear night sky tonight with stars visible in every direction, so that bright orange red was what really caught my attention. I've never seen anything like that before! We were taking a winding path to my house and didn't have anywhere we could stop to observe it further. Unfortunately my partner never had the chance to see it. When we got home we hopped on our bikes and rode out to the area I last saw it. But it had already vanished. I'd love to see some pictures if anyone managed to get footage of it. "
