Witness Testimony

"Me and my son were out for a walk in SE Missouri and I looked to the SE and through a clearing in the trees I seen 3 lights in a diagonal line, we stopped and watched them for a few minutes then 2 more appeared out of nowhere. We ran home and got into the truck and headed in their direction. My son has an app on his phone that shows any aircraft in the area yet nothing was showing up so we knew it couldn't be planes or copters. We followed them for 30 miles or so but they would speed up then slow down we were not able to get really close even though we were traveling at 80 + miles an hour, we could make out that they were triangle shaped and the lights we seen were bright white and an orange glow. They flew in a line a various heights by this time there were 7 of them. 1 or 2 of them would break away and fly left or right of the line that was continuing to fly straight then they would regroup,by this time we were in NE Arkansas! It was between 11:15pm and 1 am. We parked on HWY 77 near Leachville Arkansas and watched them go out of sight we waited for about 15 mins. Then decided to leave and while I was headed homed I could see the lights in my mirrors they were coming our direction so I stopped in the middle of the road turned my lights out and they came close then went back the other way, we figured out we were never going to get close enough and continued home I could still see them at 1 am. I have never seen anything like this before in my life I am 44. We aren't sure of what we saw but we do know it wasn't planes,weather balloons,helicopters or paper lanterns.They were triangular in shape we could make that out about them. I haven't told anyone other than my family because people are judgmental but I assure you we aren't crazy."
