Witness Testimony

"It was approx 1am Jan. 1 2015, I was coming home from work. My routine is to let my dogs out and while they are running around I stargaze, trying to find constellations. This time the sky was cloudy, no stars at all but there were 2 very large red stars or planets visible. I watched. 1 star was hovering, the light appeared to be fading. The other star moved rather quickly toward it then quickly moved away. Star 1's light went out. About that time a 3rd star appeared moving toward star 2. As star 3 got closer to star 2, star 2 faded. I walked toward my neighbors home hoping to find someone else to verify what I was seeing. As I neared my neighbors home star 2's light went out but it look like I was seeing a black ball in the sky. As I crossed the street to go back to my home star 3 was gone. My neighbor never came out to see the sky while I was there. There was no noise, there was no smoke (like may have been seen if it had been dud fireworks). They just flickered and then the light was gone."
