Witness Testimony

"I was sitting outside of my house enjoying the evening around 8:30pm - i noticed something quickly flashing out of the side of my eye and i thought it was a planet. i thought it was strange that it was flashing red so quickly, especially on a clear night without any clouds in the area. the colors were flashing in a circle. i grabbed some binoculars to see it up close and there were red, green, white, and yellow lights flashing very quickly back and forth in a random sequence. it was small, which is why i thought it was a planet. i then thought it was a plane, but it stayed in one spot, hovering over the trees, for over 45 minutes not going anywhere at al nor getting any larger or smaller. i put my binoculars down thinking that maybe it was possibly a cell phone tower, but still skeptical. after 45 minutes, it dropped behind the trees. i couldn't find it. if it were a plane, i feel like it wouldn't have disappeared so quickly behind the trees, it would be a long process. i looked away for no longer than 10 seconds and it was gone.
