Witness Testimony

"I was driving east bound on the I-215 Freeway in Salt Lake just before the Highland drive exit. I witnessed an extremely bright Sphere shaped object that appeared to be hovering over the freeway. The center of the sphere appeared colorless (grey). The perimeter of the sphere was surrounded by what looked like a very bright purplish almost LED like glow. It stood out from anything else. I have never seen anything like it and don't know what it was. My first reaction was "WTF is that!" There is no way it was a normal helicopter or airplane. The light surrounding the sphere was solid and did not flash. I was able to witness it for a minute then my car passed underneath it. I was able to catch one last glance in my driver side mirror. It seemed much lower elevation than the normal planes fly over at. I would say it was more like a Helicopter elevation or somewhere between. There was no wind, clouds or any other weather factors tonight. The sky was very clear and you could see more stars than normal in the City. "
