Witness Testimony

" Bright, star like light that hovered over ocean for 3 min, dropping into ocean with glow on horizon.My husband and I were driving north on Windsor Blvd. in Cambria. We noticed a substantial, bright, white light hanging above the horizon/ocean. We commented that the light had a shimmer or 'twinkle' that reminded us of starlight. However, it was too low to be a star.We continued to drive and our view was interrupted for approximately 2 minutes by buildings. We drove on to Moonstone Drive, which is a beachfront drive with clear view of ocean. We, again, saw this light hanging in same position as before. Our view was much better and clearer. We could see that the light was unique with hints of color and almost as if it had movement within it-much like a plasma effect.As we watched, it began to drop down, towards ocean and as it went below horizon line, there was a faint glow that lit the sky. I would compare the glow to that which lights up the sky at night from a town that is, say, behind a hill.The glow lasted for about three minutes and then the sky went dark, as normal. "
