Witness Testimony

"I was coming back to bed after being in the bathroom. Adjusting myself in bed as I sit up when I sleep. Looked out my window and saw a bright white light steadily drift downwards from the sky. There were no stars out, most likely a cloud cover but this light was very bright. It came straight downwards, drifting in a steady controlled medium to slow apparent movement. Object was sphere shaped, and white. When I first noticed it I thought it was a light that somehow came from one of the power lines, or a light on my garage. It was neither and that was when I realized it was like nothing I had seen before. I knew it was something to me unidentifiable. I have never seen before anything like it in the sky and it was by itself, nothing else around it. My feeling is/was that it is a UFO of what I do not know. I lost sight of the object when it went past my field of vision, that is below my window view. Afterwards there was nothing to be seen outside. . I tried to estimate exactly how large it was or even where it was. I can only say that it appeared softball size in relation to my window. At first I thought it was near my garage by the road, but then I felt it could be very far away. There are mountains in front of my house about a mile or so away, and it drifted below those so the object had to be in front of the mountains. It has left me with a sense of needing to know what it was. "
