Witness Testimony

"I was walking near my home when I first observed it. I live near the airport and noticed the light color was different from a normal plane. The light was large, bright and stationary. I was not sure what it was so I watched for about 20 seconds and it did nothing. It was not a star as it was too low in the horizon. During this time, I saw no planes land or take off from the airport while I saw it ( it was actually very close to the airport). I walked back home to grab something and about three minutes later went to the same point I initially saw it and it was still there in the exact same spot. I tried to record video and take photos with my phone but my phone. I was able to get one bad video. I tried again and my phone said no memory was left.. I stood and watched it for a few minutes at the corner and I felt compelled to walk closer to get a look. It was very far away but I wanted to see if walking in the direction would help. As I started walking, I could see the outline of a large triangle shape and the light. not sure if it turned or why I could see an outline cause the light appeared to be in the same place. I watched it for another minute or two and it still appeared stationary. I turned for a second and then it was gone. I don't know where it went. I was not paying attention to planes , helicopters, etc until I saw the above question. After the event I did hear a helicopter and about twn minutes or so afterwards, I saw a plane take off at the airport. "
