"approx. 11:15pm on 8/27/15 my wife and I were on the back porch looking at stars. I noticed one star moving a lot faster then the others. At first I thouoght it might be the international space station or a satellite, but it came to a stop. of the course of several min. we watched the object make a series of smal quick movements and come to a stop. We also witnessed what appeared to be a smaller ball of light shoot off the star like light at one point and a few min later a quick small beam like light shoot off for a short distance. I called a couple of my friends and tried to describe where it was in the sky. one friend was able to find it and saw the color changes, but says he wasn't sure that he saw it move. clouds moved over the object just a few min. ago and I came in to send this report. We attempted to take video with our cell phones but were unable to get the object to appear in the film. I'm going back out to check again now. I am submitting this only because I want to know if other people submit anything about seeing it. "
