Witness Testimony

"At approximately 7:15pm while driving on Broadway, entering the interstate to Nebraska, I noticed a white "V" just over the skyline of Downtown Omaha. I then noticed what appeared to be a bright star about (from my perspective in the car) 3 inches away from it. The "star" was bright then went to dim, then disappeared in a matter of 10 seconds. While continuing on the interstate towards 30th and Dodge, I got to the Century Link area and noticed another "star" do exactly as the other but in a completely different spot around the "V". Before exiting the interstate, I noticed a third "star" do the same as the others before losing sight of them to the trees which were covering the horizon. The whole time the "V" object, which I assumed was a plane with vapor trails, was dropping steadily. It wasn't flying away from me or my position, it was dropping. Initially, I saw the "V" about 2 feet (perception) above the First National Building silhouette but noticed it changed position, lower, by the time I got to the Century Link. "
