Witness Testimony

"I was alone in bed and awake on July 26, 2006 at approximately 2 am. I was lying on my back looking out my south facing bedroom window admiring the stars towards the end of the Bitterroot Valley. The stars were very bright that night as there was no moon or city lights to mask them. Then suddenly, from what I judged to be about 100 yards in the airspace to the south above my dads house, was a large gun metal black triangular object approximately 50 yards wide silently and very slowly moving from the south to the north. It made absolutely no sound, and had no lights. The only reason I could see it was that this object was blocking and unblocking the bright starlight as it moved on its slow, almost hover like path. It was moving so slow that I had enough time to sit there blink and think, "WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT," and even look away and pinch my right hand and say "wake up," only to look back and see it slowly moving directly over the house. There was a clear and definitive moment where this object disappeared over the eave of the roof. I have never seem anything like it before or after this event. I did not chase after it longing for another glimpse as it SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME! It completely defied all principles of aerodynamics. "
