Witness Testimony

"I was driving south on I-469 on the east side of Fort Wayne. Looked to my left and slightly ahead of me and saw large reddish ball unlike any other color or size i've seen before. Kept looking at it to see if it was moving and it appeared to be stationary and so i thought it must be a radio or cell tower light, though it seemed higher in the sky than that could be. Tried to look below it and then saw a very faint red light going down,spiraling towards the ground, and i wondered if i was then seeing the reflection from a tower structure. That didn't seem possible at that distance at about 8:35 PM at night. Suddenly the light started moving down and north and i really had to crane my neck to see what was happening. It seemed to get just above treetop height and then flashed and disappeared, like it was moving away from me. I felt taken aback and heart started beating faster when i realized that it was not anything i could explain and was clearly not a red tower light.I looked to the southeast and saw 3-4 radio towers in the distance and they were very different from what i had just seen. Could imagine no other explanation for its color, shape, movement and disappearance. It looked to be a couple of miles away and initially maybe a quarter to a half mile above the ground, but as it was very dark, it was hard to see the horizon very well. "
