SIGHTING: PUERTO SAN JOSÉ (GUATEMALA)
Witness Testimony
"I was sitting down while attending the Guate Fest 2016 (christian celebration) at aproximately 7:28 or 7:30 pm when I suddenly sighted a sphere like object at very high altitude. It was moving relatively slowly about 80 -100 km/h from west to east bordering the beach. The object seemed like a plane at first but upon more detailed examination the object appeared as a red or orange flame, the intensity wasn't constant at first, then after a few seconds the light seemed to be more steady. it hovered over my head when it suddenly got inside a cloud and then disappeared. I was trying to figure out if it could be some type of fire balloon but the light was too intense to be one. The cloud it got into was really thin so I should have been able to spot the object seconds later but I didn't. I asked around to see if one of the staff of the concert had seen anything but they didn't. Additional information I got from a local is that there are no fire balloons in the area or light aircrafts in the area at all. At the time of the sighting my phone's battery had already died so I wasn't even able to take video or a picture of the place I saw it from. Estaba sentado descansando mientras estaba en Guatefest 2016 como a eso de las 7:28 o 7:30 pm cuando de repente vi un objecto como tipo esfera volando a una gran altitud. Estaba moviendose relativamente despacio como a 80-100km/h de oeste a este a orillas de la playa. EL objeto se miraba como un avion al principio pero viendolo detenidamente, el objeto se miraba como una llama naranja o rojiza, la intensidad no era constante al principio, luego unos segundos despues, la luz parecia mas constante. Volaba sobre mi cabeza cuando de repente se metio dentro una nube y luego desaparecio. Trate de decidir si era algun tipo de globo de pasajeros pero la luz era muy intensa para que fuera eso. La nube a la que se metio no era muy gruesa asi que debi haberlo visto segundos despues pero ya no lo vi. Pregunte para saber si alguien de staff del concierto lo habia visto pero no lo vieron. Obtuve informacion adicional de un local y me dijo que no hay alquiler de globos o avionetas en el area. Al tiempo del avistamiento la bateria de mi celular se habia terminado asi que no tuve la oportunidad de tomar video o una foto del lugar desde donde lo vi. "
