Witness Testimony

"At 10:15 - 10:20pm on Friday, June 17, 2016, I was driving West on US Rt. 50 between the Rt. 47 on ramp and the South Parkersburg off ramp. I was almost to the off ramp, so my view at the time was hills on either side in front of me, with the sky and distant hills between them. I was going about 60 miles an hour, and had the windows partially down.All of a sudden, I caught something moving out of the corner of my eye, on the left. It came from behind me (I assume, because I didn't actually see it behind me), and zoomed straight ahead. It moved so fast, I don't think the whole event even took one second. It moved in a straight line past me and directly between (or slightly over) the foothills I was heading towards. Then it disappeared. Just now you see it, now you don't. It didn't keep getting smaller. It was just gone.I don't think it was a shooting star, because I've seen them before, and this appeared much closer and bigger. And I'm sure at some point it was between the hill and me. But I'd say it was probably a mile away when it disappeared. It happened so fast that even though my memory has a trail, I think that's just because my eyes didn't have time to adjust to the speed it traveled. So the light just went past me. But I remember seeing a circular flame or flame-colored light when it was almost to and at it's furthest point from me.I was super excited! I've been hoping forever to spot something in the skies! I just hope it actually was what I think it was! LOL"
