Witness Testimony

"Driving east towards scarborough along a170 on a clear frosty morning (08:56 29.11.16) having turned out of seamer moor lane i saw what appeared to be 4 short, distinct contrails at altitude which included tight turns the northernmost appeared to contain a triangular tight 170 degree movement with an aircraft / craft moving quickly east over the scarborough south bay. each contrail abruptly stopped, they were horizontal to each other in aspect and whilst i had noted a craft moving east at the end of the northernmost tip of the last contrail within a second it was no longer visible and the contrail abruptly stopped being formed. all 4 short, distinct contrails were recorded for 15 seconds by the dashcam of my vehicle. i was unable to stop and take more detailed images. as i drove on i negotiated a corner and lost sight of the trails for a matter of seconds. i began to descended a hill, looking east at the first break in tree line i saw the 4 contrails had already begun to disintegrate and there was no sign of any recognisable aircraft or any other contrails being formed. i am aware this area is subject to military flights and training but i have never witnessed military aircraft making such manoeuvres or creating short contrails.
