Witness Testimony

"I am a coast guard veteran, now working on a tugboat as a civilian. i woke up this morning around 5:30am it was still dark. i went outside on deck of the boat to drink my coffee and get some fresh air. visibility was 100℅ without cloud cover. there was a low lying fog on the swamp. location is port allen louisiana. i looked up and noticed a object moving from the north to the south underneath venus. i figured it to be a satellite at first. then when it got to the south of venus it stopped. it was much to high in the sky to be a maned craft. over the next hr i watched it make several direction changes at extreme angles. hover in a circular pattern and just float back and forth. we have a pair of binoculars onboard, so i used them to gain a better look. it was round and had circular lights that where around the rim of the craft. they where white lights. i couldn't tell the surface color. it looked dark from my point of view. it was definitely not a star. it was a flying craft. but nothing like i've ever seen in person. at 6:30 a airplane passed at a much lower altitude. gave me an idea of how much higher it was. i had a half moon and venus to give me fixed points of reference to observe the flight pattern of this object.
