Witness Testimony

"It was a cloudless, blue sky. i have a view of the hood canal and olympic mountain range, and i was looking with my binoculars zoomed to maximum magnification, searching for birds in the direction of the mountains. using only my naked eye, i noticed an airplane, traveling in a northwest to southeast direction, leaving a thick contrail, which persisted. then it began to dissipate. i looked through my binoculars to see how quickly it was evaporating and noticed a white orb hovering next to it. then it began moving erratically before hovering again. i put my binoculars down and discovered i could not see it with my unaided eye. i raised my binoculars again and located it and saw that it was still hovering. seconds later, it accelerated at a very high rate of speed in a westerly direction and disappeared. i then spent fifteen minutes looking searching for it but could not locate it again. i didn't feel threatened or afraid, but at first disbelief then awe. i went to the house, which is up a hill from the observation deck to tell my husband. i then contacted a friend who i attend mufon meetings with and she told me to fill out this form."
