Witness Testimony

"Please excuse the poor writing here, i'm writing this just minutes after the event and tried to get things down as quickly as possible: may 26, 1:00 am heading west- north i just saw, at 1:00 almost exactly, and very close, an object that was a kind of red-orange ball followed by two, very long, blue light trails. it was very bright, as bright as lightning, and it was extremely close. it moved extraordinarily fast, faster than a plane, heading in a curved angle towards the northwest. it was in front of the cloud cover, and i cannot stress enough how close it was, it was extremely bright. there was no sound. i could see the trail behind it shift as it changed directions towards the north. it lasted about a second and a half, and was very very quick and very very close. it was not like any plane i've ever seen, and was definitely not a meteor or anything like that. it then disappeared completely before it hit the horizon- it didn't fade in brightness, it was just gone. it slowed down considerably before it vanished."
