Witness Testimony

"I was heading north from branson,mo on highway 65 towards springfield.At approximately 4:30pm i was heading up one of the first long straight grades on that section of the highway. i was probably a quarter of the way up the hill when i saw what looked to be a large blimp shaped object (if it was sitting on the road it would have covered both sides and the median easily) moving very rapidly to the west and slowly descending at the very top of the grade. at first i thought it was a plane but i didn't notice any wings or a tail. and for it to be as low to the ground as it was (100ft or so) something would have been seriously wrong and it surely would have crashed given the trajectory i saw.It was dark gray in appearance, there were clouds in the sky but it was mostly blue skies to the west where it was heading. as i approached the top of the hill. i looked all around to the west and slowed down quite a bit to do so. i half expected to see a fire or wreckage in the distance. i saw no signs of anything, anywhere. i saw nothing in the sky at all and you could see for miles around by that point.This was quite a busy time of day for this section of highway with many other cars traveling in both directions, there's no way i was the only person that saw this."
