"We were out at the end of the jetty at manasquan inlet. i was taking pictures of the stars. we have been experiencing strange things at the inlet at night lately. out towards mars, there appeared to be something flying towards us (over the atlantic ocean) at a fast speed. it didn't look like a plane to either of us. then all of a sudden a shooting star came out of nowhere not far above whatever was flying towards us and then it seemed to absorb the shooting star and after that it took off in the other direction very fast. we were both blown away by what we just witnessed! it was awesome! i just wish it hadn't changed direction and kept flying towards us. "
