SIGHTING: INDEPENDENCE, MISSOURI (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"Standing on my back porch smoking as i do before i go to bed & talking to my husband on the phone when i looked in the sky and noticed a red, green, and blue flashing objects through the tree line opening way out in the sky. i talked to my husband and explained what i saw & after remaining stationary for a few minutes it then moved erratically through the sky. it moved in almost a circular pattern. the flashing then faded into the distance until i couldn’t see it anymore. after about 10 minutes, i assumed maybe it was a drone or something. then i continue looking and another two appeared in the distance and remained stationary for about 10 minutes before stopping abruptly and then they were gone. 10 minutes after those disappeared i could see a plane flying very very fast in the sky near where i spotted those lights. then the original flashing object popped up and went erratically in a circular motion again before ascending into the sky and again stopping abruptly. i am honestly astounded. we immediately looked online to see if i was crazy for seeing these things and we actually watched a news clip from a news station a few towns over (blue springs, missouri is where that story was covered a few months ago but i hadn’t previously heard of this incident until now) where the lights they described were almost identical to what i saw. after about an hour i looked out again and nothing is there anymore and i can’t see anything out of the ordinary. very very strange for someone who has never seen anything like this before. i heard nothing in the sky, except when the one airplane flew quickly across which was basically a jet sound. definitely odd.
