Witness Testimony

"I was sitting in my dorm room working on a paper. i had stopped to take a break and get some tea when i noticed that the moon was really bright. i stopped to admire it for a little bit as i'm going to college in the city and i'm from the country. i don't get to see the moon that often here, so i wanted to enjoy this. that's when i noticed something that looked like helicopter lights right next to the moon. as i watched, i noticed that there were a lot of different colors of lights and that there were more lights than those that are found on a helicopter. as i watched them, the lights moved back and forth across the sky. at one point, they moved toward the moon, flashing quickly. i thought i would see the shape of a plane or something over the moon, but there was nothing, and the lights appeared on the other side. they kind of flashed and blinked like a firework that fizzles out in the sky. there was no real shape, just a group of several flashing lights. none of them flashed at the same time either. i stood there watching it through the window of my dorm, afraid that if i went outside i wouldn't be able to see it. it moved randomly through the sky covering large distances in short amounts of time. this went on for about 10 minutes or so. i heard what sounded like rotors over my residence hall and the lights went out. a few seconds later, there was the shape of a helicopter over the moon. it was too dark so i couldn't see what color it was, but it headed in the direction of what ever it was that i saw. "
