"3 independent pilots reported seeing the mysterious object, with one virgin airlines pilot discussing the possibility of a meteor with “multiple objects following the same sort of trajectory”. the planes were flying in high level airspace – which extends upwards from 28,500ft to 42,000ft. one of the objects did a near miss with a virgin airliner. the pilot claims the object flew at least mach 2 and flew an erratic pattern after the fly-by."
