SIGHTING: SHREWSBURY, MASSACHUSETTS (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"I am a full time police officer based in shrewsbury and at the time of this sighting i was responding to a call about possuble tresspassers in ford village near shrewsbury. it was 4am when i arrived at ford church and had cleared an area reported to me to check. by 4:15am i was just about to get back into my patrol van, when i noticed 3 bright balls or orbs of light approaching the village at approx 500ft altitude coming in from the south. they were very bright and at first i though they were an aircraft but there was no engine noise. they stopped above a field to the south of a small residential street called manor crest. they were hovering above the field and as i walked towards a small stream at the edge of the field to take a picture with my mobile phone, they suddenly grew brighter and ascended straight up. they moved into a line behind each other and then started to move slowly towards the west. they disappeared out of site within 30 seconds. i'm ex military having served in the army, and i can categorically say that i have never seen anything like this before, let alone know of anything remotely similar that the military may have that these orbs could of been. i reported the incident to my shift segeant who advised that if reported further it would be dismissed. we both felt that its clearly unexplained aerial phenomena, and are aware that it may of been seen by other witnessed in the area."
