Witness Testimony

"Viewed from a Sprinter van going down Main Street by two adults and two kids sometime in the ballpark of 8pm. It was poking out just above the tree line of the hills to the east, towards Hampden/Wilbraham.
At first, we thought it was a low flying C1A because of it's size and the orientation of the lights. However, the more we looked, the more we realized it wasn't moving. If it was, it was very slow and didn't seem to be going anywhere. We were going to drop off on of the kids to their house after taking them to a Christmas concert in Wilbraham. We saw it for a good portion of the drive down Main St towards his house. We lost sight of it, then dropped him off a few minutes later. We then went back the way we came down Main street, and, sure enough, it was still there in the same place in the sky.
At this point, we all knew it was clearly out of the ordinary. I stared more intently from the front passenger seat and counted 5 or 6 lights, some of which would occasionally blink on and off or dim and brighten in intensity. I could very faintly make out a really dull, glowing light from what looked like was the underside of the black craft. It was hard to tell what color it was due to how dim it was, but it seemed to be vaguely greenish, bluish, or even somewhat purple. It seemed to have a "gaseous" quality to it. It was larger that the other lights and would've been easy to miss as it was nowhere near as bright. I had to strain my eyes to even make it out.
From the time we first saw it to when we finally drive past it on our way back was probably just under 10 minutes. Had I been driving, I would've pulled over or tried to get closer for a better look. It didn't occur to me to take any photos from my phone, but they would've turned out terrible from a moving vehicle and would've hardly been conclusive as to what you were looking at. I would find it very hard to believe that nobody else saw this thing, especially of they were up in the hills it looked like it was just poking out above. It was very conspicuous.
***Side note to the people who run this website: You'd probably get a lot more reports sent in if you change the "robot" detection under the map...I've tried at least 10 times now and nothing works. I can't even tell how many letters there are, let alone which ones. I have good vision and have never had a problem with anything like this before. I'll keep trying but there's a real chance I might just give up at this point, and I imagine many others actually have. Little things like that can make a HUGE difference, as this is an unnecessarily obtuse and difficult barrier to submit a report. On attempt 30+ now...this is the worst authenticator I've ever seen. I'm amazed that anyone could actually get this right. At best, there are only 3 identifiable letters and when I know them for sure, it doesn't except what I enter. The other "letters" to the side are no more than a small bent line."
