"Driving to work down the m1 in nottinghamshire between junctions 26-25 southbound around 10.10 am. the sun was very bright and to my left, i spotted a metallic glint to my right and presumed it was an aircraft or helicopter as we are close to east midlands airport. as i travel the route on a regular basis i thought it to be odd and continued to watch it for around 30 seconds whereas it completely disappeared from sight. thinking i may have caught a glimpse of venus in the daylight i made a point of doing the same journey in darkened hours this morning and nothing appeared. weather details were exactly the same for both days."
