Witness Testimony

"Oval, oriented vertically, shaped extremely bright white light that moved vertically/descended extremely rapidly. the observation was made in a canyon as i was going to work. i got out of my car to close the front gate when the object was observed. there was no sound but once the object disappeared, 4 horses spooked and ran closer to the house. the movement was in a straight line. although our property lies below commercial aircraft flight paths, these aircraft are much higher in the sky, leave contrails, and can be heard. there was no sound during this observation. i estimate the distance to the observation to be within 5 or 6 miles because it appeared to descend near the summit of the canyon, which is about that distance from my house. the object was large at that distance, the object was much bigger than a basketball. finally, the object was brighter in color on the edges and darker towards the middle."
