Witness Testimony

"On august 23 2018 at around 8:20 pm i was sitting at my friends house and from his security camera facing out front of his apt we saw a small storm. it was only in one area over the mountains. i was watching because i thought it was pretty cool to watch. i then noticed two flashing lights. i thought it was an airplane. the object was north of my location traveling from the west going east towards the storm over the laguna mountains. i told my friends look that aiobject that was going toward the worst part of the storm. we watched the two flashing lights assumed to be an airplane, fly towards the storm. (there is an airports in our area.) we watched the flashing lights hit the storm cell and there was a huge flash of light like an explosion. then all of a sudden the two lights came shooting back out the opposite way going 3x faster as when it flew in. we didn’t know what to think. then we saw another two sets of lights coming from west same as before so we started recording the lights. i think they were a few minutes apart. it did the same thing. it flew towards the storm, blew up, and shot out going back west. we got it on video. it happened a third time which we also got on video. the storm went away pretty quick. we observed lights from airplanes after this incident but they flew straight on by as normal. so what were the 3 objects that flew in and shot out of the storm? i attached a picture of what my video looks like. i am filming the tv that is showing what the security camera is pointed at. it is kind of hard to see but you will definitely see the explosion and object fly back out in the video.
