Witness Testimony

"Hi! We saw an incredibly bright light, resembling a star shape, but at about three fingers from a two story building. It was at around 23.30 and lasted for about 40-60 minutes. It was outside our house, we had been moon watching earlier but had not seen it until coming back to the window later that night. We were logically trying to assume it was a really low flying helicopter as it was that close to us, but there was no loud sounds, nor the changing of colors we usually see when its a helicopter or airplane. It was also 120% more bright than any normal star from a night sky even more than when we've been star gazing in clear skies in mountain tops. The light was extremely big, seemed like five stars mixed in one, pulsating in light, getting bigger and smaller. It didnt move for a really long time and did not change color as it would if it had been a common aircraft. To be honest, it didnt seem like any kind of craft at all, it almost looked like the sky had ripped and this bright white light was coming out of it. If you looked at in for a long period of time you could see an aura around it (like you do in the moon) but so big you could see fades of rainbow light pulsating around it. I have seen comets, shooting stars, star watching with my telescope etc. and this seemed so outside of normalcy it really astounded us. We unfortunately didnt take a picture, but we took a picture of the night sky through the sky viewing maps on our phone. The light seemed to be in the Orion constellation, coming from Bellatrix or Betelgeuese, the moon and venus was also visible in the left hand corner of the light . It was seeing Venus that made it seem so surreal as the brightness and proximity of it was out of this world. Anyway, if anyone else reported seeing something similar that would be really interesting! We would love to know :) All the best "
