Witness Testimony

"2.45UTC Bright lights coming predominantly from a radiant in eastern sky approx 90° East elevation of approx 50°-60° appearing in multiples and singles. Others appearing froma second radiant further round to the South-East with roughly similar elevation. Had earlier seen overflight of what we believed to be ISS passing West to East, very large and extremely bright. Not visible for very long. Display started approx 10 mins after overflight. All appearing to be "descending" at a constant rate taking several seconds to disappear below the local horizon. Some multiples descending directly together from radiant, others moving away from each other during descent. Varying luminosity. Very clear sky, no moon. 2x instances of single flashes in the sky similar to distant lightning. Initially believed to be caused by local railway line but no trains running. Nothing showing on lightning detector. Later accompanied by an unidentified aircraft believed to be a Helo of some description displaying nav lights and beacon. Visible in binos. Not showing on Flight Radar. Also in Eastern sky but seemed more "local". Approx 5-6000ft at 5-6 miles distant. Could have been greater. Obs finished at 4.00UTC. Helo still in sky. Remained in a fairly static postion throughout. Had earlier previous afternoon had overflight of two Chinook helos at very low level passing at speed, east-west. Made the house windows rattle. "
