Witness Testimony

"I've been looking at the sky at night for donkeys years. i think about 15 years. a long time. i've seen all sorts. satellites, planes, meteor showers, space debris. everything. yet i saw something a few nights ago (may 10th, 1am ish) that was new and surreal. i saw a bright dot moving through the sky steadily and after a short amount of time, it was no longer bright enough for me to see. that's how the space station looks. nerdy me was excited so i wave and say 'nice to see you tonight!' out loud to the astronauts aboard (because manners/nerd!). immediately the thing brightens up and then dims until i can't see it anymore. i've seen videos of stuff that lights up when people signal so after an uneasy few moments thinking about whether to try it or not (and looking for it in the sky), i said 'hello' out loud again...And immediately the damn thing lit up even brighter! i was transfixed. i kept doing it. i'd say hello or wave, and it would brighten up and then dim. then it disappeared behind the tall trees that are in the field behind us. there was no steady rhythm or any pattern to the glowing. i changed the length of time between saying hello or waving to try to clarify that i was being responded to. nothing happened at any point until i said hello or waved. i can't explain what i saw. "
