SIGHTING: RUSSELL, NEW ZEALAND

Witness Testimony

"(Tapeka Point, Russell, Bay of Islands, New Zealand) On Wednesday 17th Feb we were staying at the Bay of Islands. At midnight we noticed two green lights next to each other around 200 meters from our house up at the end of the beach. The lights were above the water’s edge and around 50 meters above the water. They were both stationery for about 30 minutes, then started moving erratically then back to their original positions. The green lights projected light beams from them down to the water and there were objects moving up the beams from the water. Another much larger very bright white pulsating light appeared above the green lights. This light appeared to grow and morph in shape and changed colour between bright white, orange and red. This intense bright light at times pulsated and lit up the beach front and next door park. All while this was happening- flashes of light lit up the sky directly above the lights. This whole sighting started from midnight to around 4am when the green lights disappeared and the large white light moved over the water and disappeared as well."
