Witness Testimony

"At 8:58 p.m. a disk shaped object appeared in the sky moving from the SW. As it approached from the SW it was slightly tilted and looked very large (- or + 300 feet in diameter). No other aircraft are in the vicinity. as it leveled off in flight, the entire circumference of the craft was illuminated with an opaque light ring. The top and bottom of the craft was a darker metallic color that blended very well with the night sky. No other distinguishing marks, lights, beams, or other activity was noticed. It continued on a steady path and headed NW. It did not display any erratic movement and I could not hear any sound coming from that craft. As you view the photograph you would be looking at the western horizon. This is not a hoax and I have absolutely no desire my name be made public. It was the most sobering experience of aerial phenomena I have every witnessed. As a retired Air Force Officer I have seen many different military and civilian aircraft. It did not appear to be a satellite, weather ballon, floating airship, blimp, zeppelin, or dirigible. It was something I have never seen before in my entire life."
