SIGHTING: MILE MARKER 37 CAMPSITE BY THE CATTLE GUARD IN GILA NATIONAL FOREST

Witness Testimony

"We were camping on the night of 5/28/2023 in the Gila National Forest. We had a campfire going. My friend and I were out by the fire and our families were in the tents sleeping. I noticed the object flying. There was no sound whatsoever, which was puzzling to me. It moved fairly quickly and then would stay in a spot for a few seconds and then move again. It was getting closer and closer to us. I go my phone out and took a video of it. I went to my truck for a few seconds and came back and it was gone. It lasted for several minutes. It came over the ridge where we were at (you can see the ridge in the background when the video first starts up). It stayed over the ridge and got decently close. I never saw it leave and my friend did not see it leave either, but it was gone when I came back from my truck. It had yellow and red light. There looks like a green light at the very end of the video. This would tell me it could have been an aircraft, but there was no sound at all and the way it moved was not like a typical aircraft. Can you determine if there were any flights over our area that night during that time?"
