"A friend and I sat outside for lunch just after noon and both immediately noticed a very shiny object in the sky. It didn't appear to be moving, or may have been moving very slowly - we guessed that perhaps our viewpoint was influencing our perspective. After watching it for a few minutes, my friend took some photos with her phone. Then as we chatted, we looked away and when I looked back soon after to keep observing it, it had disappeared! It hadn't been moving fast enough to move out of sight so quickly."
