Witness Testimony

"Bright orange orb the size of a medicine ball at 2000 feet passed directly overhead with no sound.Sitting on our vacation cabin porch, overlooking Pelican Lake, four buddies and myself saw a Bright Orange Orb moving across the clear sky from West to East heading directly toward us. At first I thought it might be a meteor but as it got closer you could definitely tell it was not burning but glowing a bright orange color.This single bright orange orb was moving at a steady rate and appeared to be at a height of 2000 to 2500 feet. It passed directly overhead and made no sound. The object was bright orange and had a distinct circular shape. It appeared to be the size of a medicine ball.I was able to walk to the other side of the cabin and continued to watch is pass overhead until it moved over the tree line and out of sight. I tried snapping some pictures with my cell phone but nothing came out.I live near O’Hare Airport in Chicago and see planes taking off and landing daily. The height of this object was much lower than an airplane on approach to O’Hare. "
