Witness Testimony

"Orange light in the sky viewed form omer michiganAt approximately 7:25 pm near Omer, MI I was looking out the driver’s side window when I saw a bright orange/yellow light at approximately 55 degrees from the horizon. The light appeared to be a glowing circle and immediately broke apart into three separate glowing circles that formed in a three point triangle. They immediately disappeared and then in the sky where the light had been there was a bunch of tiny white blinking lights like baby stars that flashed randomly. A few seconds later the same thing happened again. It was too high in the sky to be anything such as a plane. I would say it was on the magnitude where you would say “oh that’s a meteor or something” but it was too organized and to repeat identically makes me believe that it was something else. I am not a believer in this sort of thing so I am looking to someone to explain to me what this might have been that I saw in the sky. My educational background is in the chemical field and I hold a BS degree. I would appreciate any assistance in understanding if there was some sort of astronomical event this evening or if this is something people have experienced before. "
